Comics

It has long been a goal of mine to draw and write a graphic novel. When I got this crazy idea into my head a few years ago, I knew pretty much nothing about comics or drawing. Now that I've spent a few years learning about comics and sporadically practicing drawing, I know marginally more about both things.

In reading about comics, I have come across some interesting exercises to work on understanding how to make comics. One such project is the photo comic, whose goal is to tell a story using pictures (from a camera). I never had much interest in photography until I started trying to tell stories with my pictures. Now I see all kinds of interesting possibilities in arranging sequences of pictures!
